AtlasAlive is a geo-hosting framework for publishing GIS maps easily to the internet. AtlasAlive is built on the Manifold™ Framework and can publish native Manifold maps or conversions from most common GIS map formats and image libraries, including ESRI™, MapInfo™, Oracle Spatial™, DB2™, MS SQL™, MrSid™ and ECW™. Tile Layers allow integration of existing tile libraries into the AtlasAlive map.

AtlasAlive provides any user with a web browser the ability to access GIS data through intuitive queries and selections in an easily understood map. In addition to data stored in the map layers, users can manage and create point data in a native AtlasAlive layer we call SmartFeatures, which can support GPS integration. They can also add links to SmartFeatures or any existing map data that can include images, data files or web links.

Multi-layered user access and roles make AtlasAlive the perfect answer for applications where security is needed. Public maps allow the full GIS capability to be made available to any user on the internet. AtlasAlive maps can be easily embedded in an existing website.

AtlasAlive includes an intuitive set of navigation tools, a robust query engine and simple query builder, a powerful report writer, and an administrative management resource that allows flexible application to unique user environments and a growing list of features that have been developed in response to user requests.
